Our Promise
A Promise to the Community
Champions World International was founded in 2002 out of a single conviction — that no one should be invisible in a time of crisis. We started with food pantries and emergency supplies in Houston and Louisiana. We built from there because the need never stopped. Today we run more than ten programs across three campuses, and our promise has never changed: every person who comes to us leaves with something — support, a referral, a next step, or simply the knowledge that they are seen.
Mental Health
A Safe Space to Be Heard
Since 2008 we have provided counseling, peer support groups, and crisis resources to teens and families across our campuses. Our Voice My Fears program gives young people a structured, judgment-free space to name what they are carrying — and find a way through it. We know that 1 in 4 teens will face substance abuse pressures before age 18. We show up for that reality every single day.

Empower Life
Hope, Housing & a Real Path Forward
Our EMPOWER LIFE program in Ruston, Louisiana wraps real services around students and young adults navigating housing instability. We coordinate off-campus housing placements through real estate partners, daily campus transportation, peer compatibility matching, food supplies, and healthcare referrals — all as a single package. No one gets partial help. They get the whole system.

Our team includes licensed counselors, legal advocates, educators, and housing specialists. We offer job training, career coaching, resume development, and small business start-up mentorship. We also run Dress for Success — providing interview-ready clothing and confidence to job seekers re-entering the workforce. If you can imagine a better version of your professional life, we have a program to help you build a path to it.
